Kastelli Beach

A must see on Koufonisi, sheer enjoyment. Scattered pieces of rock protruding out of the clear, deep blue sea. Rocks that form a passage leading you from bay to bay. The image resembles the Ionian Sea, a miniature Porto Katsiki and exotic Hawaii, as it has been named, and touched by Aegean beauty. It is located on the northwest coast of the island and on an imaginary straight line from Loutro to Pano Koufonisi. As it isn’t a regular tourist destination, the only way to reach Kastelli is by boat or a pre-arranged tour.
